I was out trying to groom our trails today. They were really hard and icy in spots. Where they are good they are good, but where the snow gets thin they can be ugly. The trails up high are good. I went on 407 as far as the red gate just past the intersection of the cross trail and 407. On 4&7 I went as far as the logging header just this side of the intersection of 4&7 and 407. There is more ice in those areas and less snow. Lets hope we get more snow next week! I did see 15 sleds out there today and they all said that with the snow that we have the trails are good.
I also cleared the snow off the Clement Shelter roof, the people that were at the shelter did not use the second shovel that I brought. I have only had one time in all the years I have cleared the roof that any one has helped. I don’t expect help but I do appreciate it.
You can ride but use caution because the trail conditions change quickly.
