Trail Report February 15, 2026

I headed out grooming at 1:30 Saturday morning to groom all of our trails. I groomed some twice to get the bumps out. They really were not that bad to start with but Jocky is hard some times as it is steep and can not drag a lot going up. I saw a lot of riders and some said they were going to the Mount Holly Snofliers cookout at the Stone House. I heard they had a good turnout for the event. The Tucker ran well and the trails looked very nice. There were only 2 vehicles in the Groomer Shed and Notch Parking Lots which I thought was odd as the weather was good and not too cold. Scott and Dave said that the trails were holding up nice even with the traffic. There were also some hikers and snow shoers out enjoying the trails also. I groomed a total of 89.4 miles in 13 hours. When I got back to the groomer shed I refueled and cleaned the snow from the track area like the groomer operators have to do every time out. We also inspect the Tucker to see if there is anything wrong or broken. I found a bolt at the end of the left rear spring was broken and backing out. Luckily we had purchased one a long time ago when we lost one in the front. We, at that time, made it back from the Falls Road on 407 to the groomer shed. So I blocked and jacked it up and replaced it and we are up and ready to go for John early Monday morning. Hope you can go out and enjoy the trails today!
