I was out walking some of our trails today and talked to several riders and they all were still happy to be able to ride. They were all amazed at the conditions. There are some ice issues but the sled were not affected as bad as the groomer might be. No one thought they were unhappy that they went out. We will have to see what this week brings. Remember I do not mark our trails as closed unless there is a serious issue. During these times you need to ride with caution! If I mark them close you can get a ticket, and if I do mark it closed do not ride it because there must be an issue with that trail.

On a somber note our long time President Rick Lees pasted away last week. He will be deeply missed by me and all who knew him for his friendship and efforts to promote the snowmobile sport. Rick, rest in peace! Here are a couple of photos of Rick over the years.
