Trail Report December 28, 2024

John and I swapped the compactor bar for the drag with anticipation of going out on the upper trails. We were going to fuel it up and the pump clicked the circuit breaker. We checked the pump for being froze and then popped the cover on the switch area and found a pinched wire. We fixed that and fueled it up and were watching the temps and they were up to 36 and the snow was soft so we did not go out. The snow is settling and there was not much there to start with so our trails will stay closed until we at least see cooler temps and hopefully a few inches of snow. If we have snow left after this warm and wet spell and if it freezes it should be a good base. Think snow!
