Trail Report February 8, 2025

John and his son Ben went out yesterday and groomed the upper trails. John and I went out to do the trails to the north. We made one pass on 407 and groomed to the parking lot. We were headed back on 4&7 and stopped to tighten a track and saw red on the ground. We thought hyd. fluid or transmission fluid, but in the  end it was fuel. We studied it over and could not find the cause so we headed back to the groomer shed. When we got there we sprayed with carb cleaner trying to find the issue. Then when I went into the cab I realized that the check engine light is on and the buzzer is going off. The codes are looking towards the injection pump but we will be getting someone out there asap to fix it. This could not happen at worse time as snow is in the forecast tomorrow and Thursday.

I want to thank Scott Ryan for going out and cutting a low hanging tree out of the trail. That saved us time when we were grooming!
