I went out on Saturday and groomed all of our trails. Dennis Hallion wanted to ride along for a short tour so we did the upper trails and then I went back to the groomer shed and dropped him off. We got a surprise when we came up on a moose on the Hudson Trail 4&7 . We had to wait until the moose went left on the upper trail and we went right to the Stone House. When we went back to go up the upper trail the moose had wandered off the trail. It was my first time seeing a moose on the trail with a groomer! The trails came out nice, but the trails closer to Route 4 are still slim in areas. All the riders I spoke to or saw were very happy but they said it was quite cold. When I got back to the Groomer Shed it was -5 degrees and quite windy. I had to wear a face mask fueling and cleaning the Tucker. The tucker ran great and no leaks in the front differential that I could see. John will be back out this week grooming them again to pack the new snow that we are expecting. Sorry this report is so late but I had things to do with family and snow removal so I did not get home until late both weekend nights! Getting the grooming done is most important in my mind.
