We went out grooming the upper trails yesterday after getting the tucker to stay running. It must have had ice or something stopping the flow of fuel in the water separator filter housing. We are going to look into that ASAP, but 3 1/2 hours later we were on the trail. The trails are still thin but very rideable if you ride for the conditions. As I said we did the upper trails from the tin shanty area, RD 672 to the Black Swamp Road, RD 67, and all the trails leading to the Stone House. We then went up over Jockey RD 672 to RD 16. The north end of that mountain is icy in spots but sleds should not have a problem if caution is used. We then went over to the Bove Camp area RD 65 to RD 651 and then back to the groomer shed RD 69 via the road as the snow was getting thin. Is was not too rough and if we make too many bare spots the sun will melt the snow faster. We may get a little snow the first part of the week! Our trails are open and every one that we have talked to was happy that we had as much riding as we do.
