March 13, 2015 – Friday the 13TH was a good night to groom!
Scott Ryan were out grooming up our trails last night. The trails are very hard but they groomed up nicely. Some spots are getting thin where the sun has been hitting but it is nothing that should bother snowmobilers at this time. We were still amazed at how good the trails were before we started. We figured that with the warm temps the trails would be all tore up but they were not. There was just normal wear from sleds using the trails. It looks like it might be a little nasty this weekend, maybe we will get a few inches of snow on Sunday. That would help make the season last!
I am checking into new blades for the drag, if they have them I will get them and get them on to help dig a little better in the hard snow. I have been trying to get them for a while, I think the dealer forgot about us, maybe he has too many things to do! We will get at least one more week of grooming and probably more as we do still have good snow, If you get off the trails it is up to your knees at least!
