Dad and Ray were out again smoothing up the trails. They groomed the same amount of trails as I did on Saturday night. They said that the trails were hard but more rocks are showing where the snow gets slim. There still is no open water and the trails up high are still really nice. I did close the gate on the trail out of the Notch Road parking lot as the snow is really thin and we do not want unwanted truck traffic going out it. This is the first year we ever closed any trail early. I am going to try and get a narrow spot around the gate for next year so sleds could get around like the city gates. If this closing is an issue to any one please let me know. Of course if we get a snow storm I will open it back up. This has been a very strange year!
