Trail Report March 31, 2023

I was out late yesterday afternoon and most of the night grooming up what I could of our trails and some of the Snofliers trails as their Tucker is broken. On our trails I did 4&7 as far as RD650 the intersection of 407. On the other end of 407 I turned around in the clearing just after the red gate just past RD651. For the Snofliers I groomed 4 to US 100 and 7 south to be able to groom both the trails to the Old Plymouth Road  parking lot.The sections on 4 and 7 I had to groom twice as the bumps were too deep and the snow would come out chunky so I had ot go over them again to break it up and smooth it out. I think in the end they came out pretty nice. Every thing other than the trail coming out of the groomer shed is still looking good but they are getting slim the farther you get to Mendon, ride with caution as the conditions can change quickly. There are water spots that are getting bigger on the trail coming out of the groomer shed. The Old Plymouth Road parking might be a better choice if you do not like water spots. Ride early as this might be the last of the riding and grooming.  I did see riders out last night and one even came from the parking lot by the highway garage. Every one was surprised at how nice our trails are and how good they were holding up, our work is paying off I think.
