Opening Day Trail Report!

Mark Quesnel on our first tracks and grooming Dec. 2017! Thank you for your help and sorry you had to walk out!

This is where the Tucker quit the first time! What a surprise to us!

All of our upper trails from RD 672 to RD 67 and beyond to WR 80 were groomed with early season conditions to be expected. Then our Tucker quit on the trail between RD 672 and RD 69 that goes directly to the groomer shed. I went back up today and it started back up and it went a little ways and quit again. I had my meters and test equipment and worked on it for 4 hours and every thing I was told to test seemed to test fine but it would not start. I will try to get it closer to the groomer shed but if not we will be looking into getting it repaired asap.

Mark Quesnel got his first experience walking out when it quit. Dad picked us up on the Tin Shanty Road and brought me back several times on Thursday and then again on Friday morning. Dad then, when I was not getting it running, came up the trail with his tractor clearing trees as he came to get me and my gear! This is a guy having heart issues and is 85 years old. He just does not want to quit! Just got to love him!

All the gates are open so you can ride but be careful! We will back out with the Tucker soon, Please do not hold this break down against us as we really try to be ready to go but this a surprise to me also. Dave Fucci told me if you have equipment you will have break downs even with proper maintainance.

The Mount Holly club called and wanted us to help get their Tucker out of the woods but we had to tell them our Tucker was down also!

On a better note here are some photos I took on Thursday.

Ride Safely and Ride Right!
