Trail and Club Cook Out Report March 29, 2015

I was out early Saturday morning grooming up our trails getting them in really nice shape as we have tried to do all year. They are holding up very nicely even with the rain that we had. Every thing is still open even crossing over to Chittenden they are still very rideable Up high it is still mid winter conditions, we even in some areas had some light snow on the ground to groom. It made for excellent riding for the cook out.

The cook out was well attended. There were club members there from out-of-state by the plates on the vehicles parked at the groomer parking lot. It was nice to talk to some of them when I stopped in between grooming and taking the Mount Holly’s drag back down to their groomer site. They left it at the clearing at Saltash when their Tucker broke down. If anyone has any photos of the cook out please get them to us so we can put them on our website. drag back to their site and then helped me get our drag reattached. He rode with me and we had a nice visit about snowmobiling and grooming. I was glad to see no one bothered his sled as he left it at the Stone House while we doing that.  We hope they have good luck in repairing their tucker in the off-season.

17 hours later and 116 miles the Tucker as back in the shed, hoping for at least one more grooming but with the warmer temps we will have to wait and see. There is still great riding so go and enjoy while you can!

  1. Had a great time at the cook out. It was nice to meet some of the dedicated members of the club who made this all possible. Put 50 miles on riding my vintage sled loving every minute of it. Thanks again for all your time and effort.

  2. I am glad you had a good day! Nice photo! I did not remember to take any, I had the camera and every thing!
