Trail Report February 28, 2026

I went out right after work last night and groomed all night and the trails were looking pretty nice. I had to go over Jocky twice to get it nice.It was a really nice night and the moon was out. I saw several riders out some around mid night. Today’s temps are warmer and by the end of the week it could reach 50 degrees so the snow is going to get soft and we can not groom if it is too warm. John is going out on Monday as the temps are going to be good for grooming. Our trails have really been holding up nice because the temps have been staying cold but I think this is going to change this week at least. Sunday is going to be colder again so if you can, get out and enjoy the trails!

Trail Report February 21, 2026

I was out grooming yesterday starting at 4:45 pm as the temps dropped to where we could groom. The trails came out nice I think and I did all of them. Before I left I shoveled the drag off to lighten the load and I found a loose hydraulic  hose and tighten it up and topped off the fluid. You could not see it because of the snow. Every thing went well and I saw and talked with Tim Carey the Game Warden. I usually see him sometime in the winter. He said if we have issues please call him. There is more snow coming and we will do our best to keep up with it but please be patient as we also have snow removal that we have to do also. Dad is taring to keep up with the plowing also and Rick Reynolds and friends helped Dad when he was stuck and he shoveled Dad’s deck and stairs so Dad would not fall! Thank you! Go and ride while the trails are really nice!
